LINDSEY WILSON UNIVERSITY

EVERY STUDENT. EVERY DAY.

Helping an institution finally become itself — fully and unapologetically.
The Seed

After 120 years, Lindsey Wilson had quietly outgrown the “small college” story they’d been telling. They didn’t just need a new identity. They needed someone to finally tell the story of what they’d become.

The Sprout

Don’t reinvent it. Reveal it.

Through deep discovery sessions with faculty, staff, coaches, and leadership, one truth surfaced: this was the most mission-driven institution anyone had ever encountered. Everyone — from professors to the dining hall — understood their role in the larger story. The rebrand wasn’t a 180. It was a milestone in a 120-year journey.

The new logo, inspired by the campus’s iconic John B. Begley Chapel, landed like a lightning bolt of recognition. A new university seal. An anthem video so specific to LWU that no other school’s name could be dropped in. A visual identity that looked like nothing else in Kentucky or the South — because it was built from the inside out, not borrowed from a template.

The Growth

When the brand launched, LWU’s own community became its most powerful distribution channel. Faculty treated the new identity with reverence. Staff found new clarity in how they talked about their purpose. And the outside world finally got a glimpse of what those inside had always known.
